Incentives for rural Colorado
Applies to residential systems. Commercial and ag systems may qualify for the business credit plus accelerated depreciation.
Rural Energy for America grants can cover a meaningful share of a working farm's or rural small business's system. Installers in our network have done the paperwork.
No state sales tax on equipment, property-tax exemption on added value, and many Colorado electric co-ops offer their own rebates or net-metering.

Not much. Ground mounts can sit near the meter or near the load; the installer runs the design and trenching. Long runs are routine on rural work.
Depends on your utility. Some Colorado co-ops allow meter aggregation; others require a system per meter. Your installer will know your co-op's rules.
Modern panels are rated for 1-inch hail at high speed and many carry warranties covering it. Ground mounts can also be tilted steeper to shed hail and snow.
